CephaloMetrics AtoZ 2020 Ver20.0 Version Upgrade Details
Controlled Medical Equipment 「Diagnostic Imaging System」
List of New Functions
CphaloMetrics AtoZ enables screw guide design.
The screw guide can be designed using CT data (DICOM) and dental STL data (model scans and optical impressions).
The screw implantation simulation and guide creation functions are linked, and a guide is designed at the position of the screw implanted in the simulation.
Simulation can confirm the space between the teeth and the bone density around the screw, even for implantation in difficult positions.
Screw guide design
The patient's STL data is read and positioned to match the dentition in the CT data. The amount of movement can be specified in detail in the Adjustment dialog.
The inner diameter, outer shape, height, etc. can be set in detail according to the screw to be used, planting position, and other applications.

Design of external shapes can be easily done by inputting points.
The designed screw guide is output as STL data, which can be printed by a 3D printer.
Screw guides can also be designed for placement in the alveolar bone.

Printing a screw guide
Print the designed screw guide with a 3D printer. The image below shows the Form2 print settings screen.
The photo below shows the actual printed guide.
Facial Harmony Analysis Added
Facial Harmony Analysis is newly added to Soft Tissue Analysis. It was created under the guidance of Dr. Chiori Hashiba (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo: Hashiba Orthodontics) at her request.
Since the soft tissue profile lines in the x-ray and the profile lines in the facial photograph are different due to the angle of photography, etc., they are recalculated when the screen is switched.
